Re: Change is Coming

Excellent news people, I always knew my faith hadn't been misplaced. ;)

Just a friendly reminder that some of us, while not as active as we used to be (getting started on University life and it's...

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

Hahaha, yeah, this was/is real fun. But we have to admit the ruleset was starting to look like a 500 page Dungeons & Dragons ruleset. :D
Who knows, our new TCG-RPG overlord might even be easier to...

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

And after all that, I rolled a 1. Owned by the odds. =P
Thank god for the Trading Card Game RPG remake (coming soon to a forum near you).

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

I have no idea what to make of that one. Headbands and armbands are similar but not the same. It certainly isn't jewelry, so... I guess I'll wait for Yagyu's word.

But yeah, I'm probably K.O....

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

So Nazo sneaks up to Chimizuki while dodging Kunai and jumps at her with a stealth attack? That's pretty much what I'd expect from a fight in the dark. :D

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

Hahaha, that's hilarious.
I guess I should change the RP posts then, for now?

Anyway, should we send our moves again or will you reroll everything in our previous PMs + Motonosa's bonus dice?

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

I'll try to describe that one round as extensively as I can.
Gotta make things interesting. ^^

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

Whenever I used Ukai Tachiai Batto it was always in the beginning of the round.
The only time I didn't, I used it with the Katana, then dropped it and used it with the Wakizashi. =P

Re: Yagyu RP Character Developement

Well we couldn't afford to lose both our heavy-hitters. If Yama became an archer and Katsuro let go of his big sword we wouldn't have anyone left to break bones and intimidate people. =P

Re: Yagyu RP Character Developement

Interesting idea.

My main goal with Mitsurai was to make a balanced leader. Followers need stable command or they'll either find someone else to lead or act entirely on their own.
I believe I've...

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

I had a feeling It'd be required. 1d4 is the lowest dice of them all, so I don't usually rely on those for important things (like the tournament) and besides, if it wasn't needed it wouldn't be used....

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

Hehehe, I think I'm gonna go ahead and use a trap - it's more suited to me and it's about time I used these INT points. ^^

Setting up a Trap: 15 (INT) + 1d7 (Hunter) + Odds + 1d4 (Bonus Dice, if...

Re: OOC for Yagyu RPG

Hahah! I've finally been approved, so I'll start my hunting right away!
Hunt, hunt, hunt - gotta bring food to the table. Who knows, I might even bring Katsuro some interesting hides or skins. =D...

Re: What can we do to speed up process?

We all know what happens when the bigtime publishers purchase smaller development studios. I'm not gonna start churning out names or anything, but I can remember at least 5-6 awesome game studios who...

Re: TLaW has competition?

I'd give it at least 7 or 7.5
Gotta applaud people for trying something a bit different. =P

By the way, when it comes to graphics, I messed around with the Patching menu and the in-game options...

Re: TLaW has competition?

Oh yeah, the download is huge and there's new patches getting uploaded all the time so it really took a lot of time to download (the fact that the download server is in Japan didn't help either).

Re: TLaW has competition?

I've read lots of info regarding Blade & Soul and I assure it has absolutely nothing to do with Tatsumaki. B&S has very nice graphics and animations, but it doesn't share any of the gameplay patterns...

Re: Might be a problem

Aion also proved graphics aren't enough - I remember when people said it'd be the "WoW Killer" and obviously it wasn't. =P
People come for the graphics, but stay for the gameplay. If the game has...
