Default Ikko-Ikki NPC Basics

Right, this post here is just to let everyone know the basic levels of your NPC opponents. When you come up against an NPC, I'll let you know what level they are. When fighting an NPC, it'll be your roll score (stat + odds), against their roll (1d10-50)

Base NPC
These NPCs are things like untrained peasants, cats, minor annoyances.
Health: 5
Dice to use: 1d10
Damage: 1d3
These little folks have practically no chance of hurting you, defending themselves or anything. But they die real damn easy. Now you go pillage and plunder that village!

Low level NPCs
Here we have our rank and file soldiers, all our ashigaru, nameless bandits and what have you. Pretty much plucky little fellows taken from the fields. These are front line infantry and cannon fodder.
Health: 10
Dice: 1d20
Damage: 1d6
More of a chance to do some damage, and a bit harder to kill. Still, only a couple of hits til they're just part of the bloody mush on your foot.

Mid level NPCs
These are a bit more specialist. We got your faceless samurai and unknown ninja in here. Officers and the like. Treat these guys with the respect they deserve, and expect them to have minions.
Health: 25
Dice: 1d30
Damage: 2d6
Its still possible and likely that these guys will fall to you, you just gotta hope the die are on your side.

High level NPCs
The cream of our enemies. Here we have masters samurai, silent assassins and powerful generals. If they hit you, expect it to leave a mark.
Health: 40
Dice: 1d40
Damage: 3d6
If the lucks on your side, hurray! If not, run like hell! But don't worry, you won't fight too many of these. Only in very dire situations will your enemy throw these at you.

Boss men
Don't think, don't fight, don't stop. Just run and hide! Near invincible, expect these to kill you real quick if they hit you. There will be ways, however, to kill them. You just gotta think how.
Health: 50
Dice: 1d50
Damage: 4d6
You shouldn't be reading this. You should be runnning!

Default Re: Ikko-Ikki NPC Basics

Looks like we've just met our first named NPC:

The Surgeon
Sasaki Moronari.
The quiet but very efficient surgeon travelling with the Saika Ikki. He will be able to deal with all your major wounds, such as bullet wounds, arrows and disembowelment. Well, maybe not disembowelment.

The Monk
Tetsumi Nanatsu
One of the party travelling North. After the scuffle in Sennan, this man is definitely not a fan of Kaito or Suzuki. However, he is a very efficient fighter. Once a samurai, he became a ronin when his lord was killed. Since then, he became a monk, then attracted to the ideas of the Ikko Ikki, joined them several years ago.
