Default Samurai Risk Card Game

Game starts Monday 4/16/12

Please be sure to have your starting daimyo choices made.
If you dont know how to play risk look up on google risk rules.

The differences here are that u can buy different unit types as well as officers, ninja and eventually weapons and tactics.

Rules
In order to send your army to attack a land u must use your daimyo or an officer to lead the battle, defending does not need an officer.
For the first 2 weeks players cannot attack each others starting locations which are their castles. This will be considered the time of peace, the calm before the storm.
You may attack any of the adjacent locations provided you have a daimyo or officer to lead the battle.
U can only have 1 officer/daimyo/ninja/ronin lead an army in an attack.
A turn cycle lasts for 1 week at the end of the week if u have a whole Regen IE Central, Nothern, Shikoku, Kushu ect meaning every province in that regen,then you will receive the Koku bonus.
For every 5 provinces u own u will recieve 500 Koku at the end of the turn cycle.
Everyone will start with 30 basic Ashigaru Units.
NOTE IMPORTANT: Each empty site has a base rebel faction of 5 armies that u will have to fight.
Everyone will also have a deck created for them be sure to see the links below this post.
If u have questions i can explain better over skype.

Each day everyone will tell me what location they are attack and how many of their armies they are sending to the attack.
Also tell me any abilities tactics units ect u are sending or using in that battle.
I will then make the rolls for everyone in the battles, only 2 armies can attack at a site, if someone has already posted they r declaring an invasion at a site u where someone is defending u cannot attack there.
SO BE SURE to read everyones moves who POSTED B4 U

A turn cycle last a full 7 day week, each Sunday everyone gets their Koku and makes their final moves also puts in their orders for the units or officers they wanna buy. Monday i put those units and officers into your decks and the next turn cycle begins.

Tactics will work as follows.

The gold coin on the tactic card is the command cost, the golden coin on a character is its command points.
Once per week you can use your tactic card on any commander that can afford its command cost.
So if a commander has a gold coin of 1 and the tactic has a gold coin of 1 then the commander can use that tactic.
The tactic will then apply to ONE DAYS battle.



Yagyu starts with Tokugawa Ieyasu Starting province Mikawa
Zekt is starting with Oda Nobunaga Starting province Owari
Philosiphus starts with Uesugi Kenshin Starting Province Echigo
Cec will be starting with Mori Motonari Starting province Aki
rorik gets to begin with Hojo Ujiyasu Starting Province Sagami




NOTE: Each day you manage to take over at least 1 land u will be granted a special RISK token. See table below (NOTE these are not units but can be traded for Koku)
Also for every 5 lands u take over in a week u will receive another token
Roll of 1: Samurai RISK token
Roll of 2: Ninja RISK token
Roll of 3: Cavalry RISK token
Roll of 4: JOKER RISK token (can be changed to any of the previous risk card values)

Turn in table (NOTE u MUST turn in a set if u reach 5 RISK token in your deck)
3 Samurai - 300 Koku
3 Ninja ----500 Koku
3 Cavalry--700 Koku
3 of a kind-1000 Koku


END OF SEASON ARMY UNIT BONUS
If you hold the following amount of lands you will receive the following amount of Ashigaru units.
Lands----Ashigaru Units
1-3------ 3 Ashigaru
4-6-------6
7-9-------9
10-13-----12
14-16-----15
17-20-----20
21-25-----25
26-30-----30


If u wanna play be sure to choose any of the remaining daimyo by tomorow night. Otherwise u will have to wait till next monday to get in the game and the board will have some of the lands taken by us early players.

Game starts today,
those who already made their choices and have been assigned their daimyo check out your decks, u may purchase additional units and or save and or begin telling me what land u wish to invade.

You can only invade an adjacent province land UNLESS u have at least 1 naval ship unit.

Remember u have to move your daimyo out in order to lead the battle, but the daimyo wont die if they r defeated they will just return to the site they attacked from.

Format is simple, just say attack province name and number from province name and number, daimy/officer will be leading the army, sending x amount of ashigaru (or other) units. Tell me if the commander u choose for the battle (to start is a daimyo) has an ability u can and want to use and ill be sure to use it during battle rolls.

REMEMBER U MUST LEAVE AT LEAST 1 ARMY UNIT ON THE LOCATION U ATTACK FROM

Be sure to check your deck links on the top of the thread and also be sure to post your moves in this thread. It will act as the game board.

Your deck will tell u how many units u have and what your starting capital province is. Just find it on the map.

PLAYERS WHO HAVENT CHOOSE YET! Can still get in if they choose today! just choose 1 of the remaining daimyo

Ill set the example and go first,

First im spending my full 100 Koku to buy a Kenyaku unit



Attacking from Mikawa 51 to Shinano 57
Comander: Tokugawa Ieyasu
Units: 29 Ashigaru, 1 Kenyaku (Note the ashigaru will be killed first as i listed them first so the Kenyaku will be last to die)

The enemy is a rebel force of 5 ashigaru units.

Im moving all my units into the territory if i win including commander




I cant use tokugawas ability until the END OF TURN cycle as it states end of turn not end of battle. So i gotta wait unfortunately to do an extra free fortification move. ALso note tokugawas ability here doesnt require him to be in battle to use it. So at the end of the week i can make 2 fortification moves. Which means i can move armies from two lands i own to two other lands, think of it as reinforcing other lands. Normally each player gets 1 fortification move at the end of the turn.

BUT I will be using the Kenyaku ability to grant +1 to my highest dice rolls this battle as long as hes alive.

So now ive made my move, ill prolly have zek make my rolls for me. Now you guys may do the same following my format.

BATTLE RESULT
Tokugawa lost 2 armies
rebel force decimated

I now control Shinano with 1 unit at mikawa and 27 ashigaru and 1 kenyaku at shinano plus my commander is at shinano
